I have been involved in the travel and hospitality industry in Cape Town for over 30 years. Chelsea Travel opened in Wynberg, Cape Town in 1992 and 27years later still has an enviable reputation as a respected and well liked retail travel agency.

Our motto “Customers trust us because they know we care” says it all.

Over the past 27 years we have seen good growth in the company. In spite of enormous changes and testing times in the industry in recent years I’m happy to see the company still going from strength to strength. I put it down to a great bunch of co-workers.

Being part of such a dynamic industry requires keeping a finger on the pulse. One thing you can be sure of in this industry is CHANGE! The Internet, service fees, etc requires all of us to “keep tabs” on what’s happening out there. All challenging and exciting, I love being part of it!

I have been with Chelsea Travel since May 1996. Through the years, I have grown with the company and broadened my knowledge in all aspects of tourism. Being a travel consultant in this day and age, is a challenging but rewarding experience, especially when clients expectations are exceeded. Doing what I love, I’ve been very fortunate to travel to a range of destinations, such as Malawi, Namibia, Mauritius, Comores, Bali, Hong Kong, London, Berlin, Thailand, Singapore, Bintan in Indonesia, Australia, Paris, Canada, Malaysia, Dubai as well as Cruising in the East. And most recently, I’ve travelled to the Seychelles, which I instantly fell inlove with! The travel industry has never been more challenging than it is right now, but with the team we have at Chelsea Travel….you can’t go wrong!

I studied Tourism at Cape Technikon for 3 years, joined the Travel Industry in 1994 and have been with this fabulous team at Chelsea Travel since 2007. 

The Travel business is a very challenging one to be in and it is therefore very important for us to add that personal touch to our clients’ holiday / travel arrangements. 

I have been very fortunate to have visited the U.K, Belgium, Hungary, the U.S.A, got married in Mauritius and also travelled to Namibia.

I have been with Chelsea Travel since 2000. Through those years, I have had the opportunity to travel to the Kruger National Park, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius, London, Bali, Bangkok, Las Vegas, Istanbul, Ireland and the Maldives. 

I enjoy nothing more than assisting people with their corporate and leisure travel arrangements. This includes: flight, car hire, rail, cruise, hotel as well as coach bookings. It is a very rewarding experience when a client’s travel dreams are achieved and their travel expectations exceeded. 

The travel industry is very challenging, but at the same time exciting.

I am very privileged to be part of a very happy and experienced team at Chelsea Travel.

I have been in travel for fourteen years, having come from a banking background, and have travelled to Mauritius, Seychelles, Reunion,Zanzibar, Thailand,Greece,Switzerland, Holland, France, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Egypt, New Zealand and Australia as well as large parts of South Africa including cruising on the Sinfonia and Opera.
I am passionate about travel and helping people fulfil their travel dreams and expectations.
